The IceHouse Hawks special needs hockey team was practicing at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena when members of the Binghamton Devils showed up to help them sharpen their skills.

The AHL professional players helped the Hawks with skating and puck-handling skills but also said they connected with the members’ pure love of the game and having fun.

The session ended with the pros donating new hockey sticks to the Hawks.
