Halloween STOP DWI Enforcement Planned in Southern Tier
Law enforcement agencies all around the region are going to be out in force for the Halloween weekend.
While the pandemic is curtailing a lot of activities, the draw of Halloween falling on a Saturday with an additional hour of haunting added with clocks being turned back for a return to standard time, may still mean revelers on the road this weekend.
The STOP-DWI Halloween Weekend Crackdown is one of the many statewide enforcement initiatives through the year and includes sobriety checkpoints and additional patrols.
There will also be enforcement focuses around thanksgiving and the “national Holiday Season” in December.
