Guns Seized, Three Charged After Johnson City Disturbance
Johnson City police found two handguns following a dispute involving three people.
Authorities say a disturbance was reported on Fairview Street around 6 p.m. Tuesday. Police were advised that guns were seen during the disturbance.
Officers found three suspects in the area. They also discovered two weapons which were believed to have been discarded by those who had been involved in the dispute.
Police say 21-year-old Annajim Jennings of Binghamton was charged with menacing, criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon. He also faces counts of tampering with physical evidence and menacing.
18-year-old Nyjee Johnson of Johnson City was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon.
A 14-year-old boy also was charged with weapon possession, menacing and criminal mischief.
