Garnar Limits Gatherings to 50 People in Broome County
Broome County Executive Jason Garnar signed two executive orders on Monday in hopes of staying ahead of coronavirus.

The first limits gatherings in Broome County to 50 people. These assemblies include but are not limited to conferences, festivals, parades, concerts, sporting events, weddings.
Schools, higher learning instutions, and businesses are exempt from this order.
The second order dictates that daycare facilities in Broome County prioritize open slots to children of essential county employees. The county defines "essential employees" as "employees in the public and private sectors with duties and responsibilities, the performance of which is essential to the public’s health, safety and welfare.'
