The community is coming together to help a young health care provider who was in a severe farming accident last Saturday that required bilateral leg amputations by going above and beyond on a GoFundMe set up for him and his family.

Travis Flanagan, who works as a registered nurse anesthetist, will face many challenges in the upcoming months, that includes surgeries, therapy and learning to use prosthetics, according to the GoFundMe.

Travis is married and has two children with a third on the way this summer, he remains positive through this horrible event, already setting a goal to be walking buy the time his third child is born in July, the fundraiser reads.

The next couple of months will be especially trying on Travis and his family, and there will be a large financial burden on them as well.

Many of his family and co-workers have started a GoFundMe account to help support his wife Lindsay, his two children Dylan and Madilyn, there expected child, and additional medical costs that the family will encounter through his recovery.As of Wednesday morning, more than $100,000 had been raised.
