Four boys face criminal charges after reported assault and hazing-type incidents at Waverly Middle School.

Authorities say the boys range in age from twelve to fifteen. The oldest youth was charged with five counts of forcible touching and two counts of unlawful imprisonment.

Investigators say police are investigating allegations of unwanted physical contact involving middle school students.

The village police department filed misdemeanor juvenile delinquency criminal charges against four students.

One thirteen-year-old boy was charged with two counts of forcible touching and two counts of unlawful imprisonment.

Another thirteen-year-old was charged with four counts of unlawful imprisonment.

The twelve-year-old boy was charged with three counts of unlawful imprisonment.

Police say the incidents were said to have happened on school property recently.

Appearance tickets were issued to each of the boys to answer the allegations at the Tioga County probation department. The cases will be handled by family court.
