Former Waverly Resident Charged in Alleged Child Sex Abuse
A former Waverly resident is accused of sexually abusing a child.
Waverly Police say 37-year-old Joshua Mowan was arrested January 31 and charged with felony sexual abuse, misdemeanor forcible touching and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
Village Police say a warrant had been issued for Mowan in connection with an investigation into recent allegations of sexual abuse against a child at a Waverly home.
Mowan turned himself in to authorities and is scheduled to appear in Village of Waverly Justice Court at a later date.
