The results are in from our Townsquare Media Food-A-Bago for CHOW.  The week-long food drive to benefit the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW) was a huge success.  Listeners to Townsquare Media radio stations  were asked to contribute non-perishable food items or monetary donations to help CHOW provide meals for needy people in our community.  A large RV from Hillcrest RV was parked in the Weis Market Parking Lot at 1290 Front Street to serve as a collection point for the food drive.

According to CHOW officials there were over seven tons of food that filled up the Broome Bounty truck and two CHOW vans.  In addition monetary contributions will enable CHOW to purchase over 13 tons of food.  Because of your generosity there will be a combined 20 tons of food available for CHOW to distribute heading into the holidays.

Along with hundreds of individual donors numerous businesses contributed shopping carts full of food and many challenged fellow business owners to match or beat their donations.  This community is absolutely amazing.  Once again you have stepped forward to help the many needy people in our community.  THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
