Fire Damages a Home in the Town of Greene

Officials are not indicating there have been any injuries in a Chenango County house fire that was reported in the afternoon of February 11.

The blaze on Hotchkiss Road in the Town of Greene was reported shortly after 4:30 p.m. and required Broome County to assist by sending a tanker truck.

Crews were back at their fire stations about an hour and a half later.

There’s no word on injuries or extent of damage.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
