Today (Sunday) is the final day of Spiediefest at Otsiningo Park.  The 35th annual Spiediefest concludes at dusk tonight.  Plenty of events take place throughout the day.  Morning events include the Kelly LaBare 5K Run/Walk.  The volleyball tournament continues today as well. Kicking off the afternoon festivities is the always popular spiedie cooking contest.

Plenty of entertainment is on tap throughout the day.  At 1:00 PM Ethan Wacker performs.  He is followed by Matthew Cornwell at 4:00 PM and Kansas rocks the stage beginning at 5:00 P.M.

Adults who bring families to Spiediefest are reminded that Safety Pads are again available to help prevent children from getting lost.  Safety Pads are located at both ends of Otsiningo Park and in the center of the park.  Parents can bring their children to any of those locations and register them for identification tags.  Should children become separated from their parents the ID tags enable safety personnel to identify them quickly.
