Broome County Sheriff’s officials say they found an Endicott woman with methamphetamine, a modified 12 gage shotgun and several hypodermic needles in the vehicle she was driving on Route 17 in the Village of Johnson City.

Deputies stopped 31 year old Michelle Roberts shortly before 4 a.m. May 14 for vehicle and traffic law violations.

She and her passenger, David Coffee are both convicted felons and cannot possess a weapon.

Both are charged with weapon possession and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Roberts is additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both Roberts and Coffee were ordered to appear in Johnson City Court at a later date.
