Fatal Farm Accident in Lansing

A Tompkins County man is dead after Emergency Medical Technicians found him trapped under a corn hopper at Bensvue Farm on Langsinville Road in Lansing September 29.

The man’s name has not been released.

Officials say it appears the equipment fell when the man was doing maintenance on it.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
