Cortland County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a fatal crash in the Town of Truxton.

Authorities say a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 35-year-old Jennifer Fish drove off Bells Mill Road March 1 and hit a tree.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office has not indicated where the woman is from or the time of the crash.  Authorities do say that Bells Mills Road was closed for several hours during the processing of the scene by the Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Team.
