If you've got a bike and have been looking for the perfect excuse to blow the dust off and pump air into the tires, the Binghamton Bridge Pedal would be it, and to make things even more perfect, the weather this weekend is supposed to be nice.

At one time, Binghamton was a bustling town with factories all over, creating hundreds of different projects and bringing great wealth to the area. Binghamton truly is filled with a fascinating history and the Binghamton Bridge Pedal is the perfect way to learn all there is to know about our river town!

The 13th Annual Binghamton Bridge Pedal will take place this Saturday, August 24th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The police escorted 10-mile ride will start and finish at TechWorks! at 321 Water Street in Binghamton and during your ride, you'll not only get to take in the scenery but will learn about local history.

At the finish of the ride, you can stick around to sample local foods from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at TechWorks!, 321 Water Street in Binghamton.

Learn about ticket pricing and get pre-registered here. Or, if you'd rather, you can pay Saturday before the ride starts, but you'll want to arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. if you plan to pay the day of the ride. Also, be sure to take a peek at some of the photos from last year's event!
