Explosion Report Investigation in Tioga County

Authorities are still looking into reports of the sound of an explosion December 31 in Tioga and Western Broome Counties.

Emergency Services officials received reports of what sounded like a blast at around 5 in the area of Neiger Hollow Road in Halsey Valley.

Responders say they found no physical evidence of an explosion or fire.

No one reportedly actually witnessed an explosion and there were no injuries.
