Get Expert Advice On Wills, Advance Directives, And More
The Broome County Office for Aging Caregiver Services will be offering a seminar called Obtaining Peace of Mind through Estate Planning and Advanced Directives on Monday, November 18th.
The seminar will cover essential topics in estate planning and advance directives, and help answer questions about planning for end of life or long-term care, setting up a health care proxy, creating a will. The public is invited to attend.

Two expert presenter will be at the event to cover these topics and answer questions from the public. According to the Broome County Office for Aging Caregiver Services, one of the presenters will be Nancy Kline, who is from Coughlin and Gerhart LLP. She will be discussings advance directives, including power of attorney, health care proxies, and living wills.
Also presenting on Noveber 18th, will be Karen McMullen from Levine, Gouldin, and Thompson LLP, who will present 'Should I Give My House to My Kids?' , Medicaid eligibility for nursing home care, 5-year lookback, life estate, and irrevocable trusts.
These presentations on November 18th will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., held at the Broome West Senior Center, located at 2801 Wayne Street in Endwell.
Lunch will be served by reservation only at 11:30 a.m., and the presentations will begin at approximately 12:15 p.m. Regisration in advance is required.
