Events Center Hosts Graduation Ceremony Today

Even though both basketball teams play away this weekend the Events Center is a busy place today.  Graduation ceremonies for those who have earned their degrees at the end of the fall semester are being held.

The change from basketball arena to a graduation site began immediately after the Bearcats home game against Caldwell on Monday night.  Floor seating was arranged as well as the stage, banners hung and the proper lighting and sound set up.

Along with graduation ceremonies and athletic events the Events Center hosts many other activities including concerts and job fairs.  It also housed several hundred people during the last major flood that hit our area.
