Edmeston Man is Accused of Resisting Arrest at Traffic Stop

An Edmeston man is accused of obscuring traffic in Norwich and resisting arrest.

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say a Deputy pulled a vehicle over in a routine traffic stop when 26 year old Brad Church approached the vehicle and refused to get out of the road. 

When the Deputy told Church he was being arrested for disorderly conduct, he allegedly attempted to evade being taken into custody.

He was arrested within minutes and was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $5,000 bail.
