East Meredith Man Flips Truck in Franklin

Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]A Delaware County man is lucky to have escaped serious injury after crashing his pickup truck on State Highway 28 in the Town of Franklin October 31.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrived on the scene and found the truck upside down with 72 year old John Condon of East Meredith still inside.

Crews with the Franklin Fire Department helped to remove the motorist from the vehicle and he was transported to Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown for evaluation.

Authorities are investigating what caused Condon to leave the road, go through a ditch and flip in the middle of the road.

There have been no tickets issued.
