Drugs and Weapons Found in a Search of a Candor Home
Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]New York State Police say a Candor man is charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and three felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
30 year old Dustin Hover was arrested December 14 following a search of a home on Cass Hill Road.
Authorities say they found about three grams of crystal methamphetamine, three pounds of marijuana, hydrocodone, hydromorphone, 2 cell phones, digital scales, drug packaging materials, an AK 47 7.62x39 caliber rifle with pistol grip accompanied by 3 loaded 30 round magazines, a loaded Hi Point 45 caliber ACP pistol, a loaded Cobra 380 pistol, a .22 caliber Cobra handgun, ammunition, Interceptor Body Armor, a collapsible baton, a drug ledger, computer laptop and tablets and $13,382 in cash.
In addition to felony drug and weapon possession, Hover is charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana and two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
He was sent to the Tioga County Jail without bail.
The State Police were assisted in the investigation by the Tioga County District Attorney’s Office, Tioga County Sheriff’s Office and the Owego Police Department.
