Driver and Passenger Arrested in Hancock on Drug Charges
A Hancock woman is accused of driving while under the influence of drugs.
Delaware County Sheriff’s officials say they responded to a report of a car that had gone off State Highway 97 in Hancock at around 1:29 a.m. April 13, ending up in a ditch.
21 year old Alissa Young is charged with driving while impaired, failure to keep right and moving from a lane unsafely.
Deputies say a passenger, 26 year old Anthony Rhinebeck of Hancock, is accused of possessing three hypodermic needles.
He’s charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
Rhinebeck was sent to the Delaware County Jail on $5,000 bail while Young was jailed on $1,000 bail.
