Job-seekers can visit with representatives from everything ranging from non-profits like ACHIEVE, to big regional companies like the Raymond Corporation, health care companies and the military.

Chamber job fairs are free and open to all job seekers.  People are encouraged to bring many copies of their resume to the events where the Chamber can scan the documents and create an on-line database for participating companies.  Those companies could even check that data base well after the event to try to find a perfect match for job openings.

The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce hosts job fairs twice a year.  Another event is coming up in November.

(The job fair takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SUNY Broome Community College Ice Center.)
