Donated Girl Scout Cookies Treat Needy Southern Tier Residents

The Girl Scouts are coming to the aid of some less fortunate residents in the NYPENN Pathways scout region.

The annual Council Gift of Caring program will give donated cookies purchased by customers to the Rescue Mission Alliance to be served as special desserts in Binghamton and Syracuse.  Cookies purchased as donates will also be distributed to families in Auburn and shared with the supported permanent housing program in Ithaca called “Court Street Place.”

People who want to gift cookies can visit Girl Scouts at any of the booths set up around their community this month or order on the Digital Cookie link online.  No shipping charges are applied to Gift of Caring purchases made online.
