Delaware County Convicted Sex Offender Pleads Guilty to Child Porn

A Delaware County man will be sentenced in March after pleading guilty two counts of transportation of child pornography.

26-year-old Daniel Miller of Stamford faces up to 40 years in federal prison for each count.

Federal Prosecutors say Miller was previously convicted of promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child in 2014 as well as felony sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child in 2017.

In his latest plea this week Miller admitted while he was on probation he uploaded images and videos of child pornography to his DropBox account using a cellphone he was not supposed to have on August 11 and 14 of 2017.

Prosecutors say the plea carries a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of up to 40 years for each of the counts as well as a 250-thousand dollar fine and five years to life on probation.
