Few things make me happier than shopping for my dogs. I’m absolutely serious. I’d rather be testing the squeakers on a pink octopus for one of my greyhounds than picking out a blouse that is the perfect shade of purple to compliment my hair!

Even though it’s not right around the corner from “the Whyte House”, I happily prefer to go to Creature Comforts on Upper Front Street in Binghamton anytime I need to pick up toys, treats, collars or even supplies for my koi pond. They're locally owned and operated and they absolutely love my dogs.

I have three greyhounds -- Jack, Kaygo, and Sir Lancelot. Their tails wag like crazy when they find out we're heading over to their favorite place!

As I’ve gotten to know the folks there over the years, I know I can rely on Creature Comforts to have what I want. And I can get sound advice about pet food from their own nutritionist.

Here’s something not everyone may know about Creature Comforts but I really appreciate: they’ve raised thousands of dollars over the years for animal rescue and advocacy groups through fund-raisers, holiday pet photos and donations.  Creature Comforts immediately stepped up with a big “YES” when our retired racing greyhound group asked if we could hold monthly meet-and-greets at the store to promote greyhound adoption.  They not only cleared out space for sometimes over a dozen of our long-legged beauties, but were always quick to offer treats and even make impromptu donations of collars and toys and they’ve supported several shelters and other rescue groups in the Twin Tiers too!

And that's the best part -- they care. Whether you're looking to stop by for a chew toy or you need to find natural pet food for your little ones' sensitive belly, they will help you with whatever you need. Give them a call at 607-723-2666, click here to visit their website, or pay them a visit in the Northgate Plaza on Upper Front Street in Binghamton!
