Cortland Man Charged With Rape

A Cortland man is charged with three felony counts of rape.

Sheriff’s officials say 27 year old Devon Stiles is accused of having inappropriate contact on separate occasions with an adult he knew about five years ago.

Officials say the incidents allegedly occurred in 2013 in the Village of Marathon and 2014 in the Village of Homer but were just recently reported to the authorities. Stiles was arrested at 9:20 a.m. March 22 at his place of work.

Stiles was arraigned in Marathon and Homer Courts and sent to the Cortland County Jail.  Bail in Marathon was set at $25,000 and in Homer at $5,000.
