Preparations are continuing for this Sunday's 32nd Annual CHOW Hunger Walk to be held on campus at Binghamton University.  Registration for the walk gets underway at 1 PM and the walk starts at 2 PM.  Participants are urged to raise money through pledges and contributions.  Those attending are also asked to bring non-perishable food items to donate. Items needed include cereal, pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned fruits and vegetables and baby formula.  No items packed in glass containers please.

CHOW is part of the Broome County Council of Churches.  CHOW distributes food to needy individuals and families in our area and provides food for well over one million meals each year.

Walk participants who raise $50 or more receive a free souvenir T-shirt at the event.  There will be music and entertainment before the walk which forms behind East Gym on the BU campus.  The CHOW Hunger Walk is held entirely on the Binghamton University campus and is 2.5 miles long.  At the conclusion of the walk Sodexo Food Service will provide participants with refreshments.  WNBF's Roger Neel will be participating in this year's walk.
