Programs are being launched this week as part of Child Hunger Awareness Week to confront food challenges in the community.

The Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse has a new CHOW Community Food Bus that will serve as a mobile food stand.  The retro-fitted school bus will provide low cost fresh produce in areas of the county that lack access to affordable, healthy food.

A free screening of the documentary concerning the hunger problem, A Place At The Table, will be held June 5 at Binghamton High School starting at 6 p.m.
