New York State Police are giving out more information about a chase that started on Route 17 in Owego and ended on Clinton Street in Binghamton April 5.

22 year old William Mason of Binghamton is charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, driving while ability impaired by drugs and other traffic infractions in the incident shortly after 11:30 p.m.

Troopers say they tried to pull Mason over on the highway but he took off.  He was located at his home on Clinton Street where they say he physically resisted being arrested before being handcuffed.

Mason was sent to the Broome County Jail on $2,500 bail.
