Caution Urged After Car vs. Motorcycle Crash in Broome
Drivers of cars and motorcycles are again being reminded to be aware of each other and their surroundings following a car/motorcycle collision in the Town of Chenango July 21 that, fortunately, resulted in only minor injuries.
Broome County Sheriff’s officials responded to the crash shortly before 7:30 p.m. at Bel Air Drive and Route 12.
Initial reports indicate a car turned left on to Route 12, cutting off the motorcycle, which couldn’t stop and hit the back of the car.
The rider and a passenger were partially thrown and suffered minor injuries.
There has been no word on whether tickets will be issued.
