Cabot Oil & Gas Feud With Dimock Resident in Court

Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation is accusing a Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania homeowner and his lawyer of trying to extort the company through a frivolous lawsuit.

Dimock resident, Ray Kemble claimed the gas company contaminated his water as a result of fracking for natural gas.

Cabot says the claims were the subject of a settlement in 2012 with dozens of residents in Dimock, including Kemble.

The Houston-based drilling company is seeking monetary damages against Kemble and his former lawyers.

The first arguments in the case were heard December 12.
