New York State Police say officers saw a vehicle leaving the scene of a burglary on County Route 20 in the Town of Edmeston at 4:34 p.m. July 13 and tried to stop the vehicle.

30-year-old Jesse Souza of Oneonta failed to comply and led troopers on a chase through several Otsego County Roads.  The pursuit ended with Souza hitting the passenger side of an Otsego County Sheriff’s patrol car on Allen Road in the Town of New Lisbon.
