Broome Land Bank Gets New Director

The group that targets distressed, abandoned and foreclosed properties in Broome County has a new Executive Director.

The Broome County Landbank board has appointed Vestal native and Binghamton resident, Jessica Nejeschieba to steer the nonprofit agency.

She is currently the Deputy Clerk for the City of Binghamton.

Nejeschleba is a graduate of Binghamton University’s Master of Public Administration program.

She replaces Margaret Scarinzi who resigned in October to take a position in the private sector and will start her work with the Land Bank in January.
