The Broome County Health Department says it has learned a person who had been at Zumiez at the Oakdale Mall on six separate days has tested positive for COVID-19.

Officials say the possible exposure at the specialty store happened October 12 between 1 and 7:30 p.m., October 13 between 1 and 7:30 p.m., October 15 between 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., October 16 between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., October 18 between 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. or October 19 between 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Anyone who was at that location during those dates and times for ten or more minutes is advised to self-quarantine for 14 days after exposure and contact their healthcare provider if they develop symptoms.

Testing is available for all New York residents at the state-run drive-through site at Binghamton University. To make an appointment, call 1-888-364-3065.

The Health Department says if you feel sick and do not need immediate assistance, contact your healthcare provider via phone or online with questions prior to going to an emergency room.
