Broome County Man Admits to Sex Crimes Against 12-Year-Old

A Town of Maine man will be sentenced in September after pleading guilty in Broome County Court, admitting to engaging in numerous acts of sexual conduct with a child.

According to the Broome County District Attorney’s office, Justin Miller of Maine pleaded guilty to the violent felony charge of course of sexual conduct against a child.

Authorities accused Miller of having contact on several occasions last year with a 12-year-old child.

He is expected to be sentenced to 15 years in New York State Prison followed by 20 years of post-release supervision and will have to register as a sex offender.

Broome County District Attorney Michael Korchak says the guilty plea spared the child from having to testify in court and recount the crimes.
