Broome Chamber Sets Economic Development Priorities
The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce has its sights focused on tax reform, assisting businesses find skilled workers and clipping mandates and regulations.
Chamber president Jennifer Conway says the three three goals were outlined in the Chamber’s annual legislative forum. The reception also recognized Unshackle Upstate, that works with dozens of businesses, government officials and organizations to lobby New York State lawmakers for legislation and policies that help areas outside of the New York City and Downstate regions.
Officials say they feel optimistic addressing those three priorities will result in a booming local economy.
