One of two Brooklyn men arrested in a December 2015 drug raid on Clinton Street in Binghamton will be sentenced in June after a Broome County Jury found him guilty of five counts.  Four counts are felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of using drug paraphernalia.

34 year old Abdul Covington was arrested along with 29 year old Matthew Daniels and authorities confiscated packaged and unpackaged heroin, crack cocaine, packaging materials and cash.  Police said Covington ran away and struggled with police as they attempted to take him into custody.

Covington could get as much as 12 years in prison.
