Bradford County Teen Killed in Vehicle Crash

North Eastern Pennsylvania news organizations are reporting the death of an Athens High School student in a crash January 20.

WNEP reports 17-year-old Jordan Garris of Sayre was killed when he apparently lost control of the vehicle he was driving at a high rate of speed on Route 220 near Athens after 8:30 a.m.

Pennsylvania State Police say Garris’ vehicle crossed into the path of a pickup truck.  Troopers say the driver of the pickup suffered minor injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
