Experts Say These Are the Most Wanted Black Friday Items
I think that the state of the economy is on the minds of every single adult in America these days. From food prices to gas prices, inflation has caused everything to go up in price, and middle- and lower-class Americans are certainly feeling the pinch, yet we're still shopping.

While commiserating with a friend about the cost of fuel oil but the need to keep my house warm, he sent me an article from CNN in which Amazon founder Jeff Bezos issued a warning to consumers that they should hold off on making big purchases in the next several months as the economy continues to spiral downward toward a potential recession.
However, it doesn’t seem that the dark economy is doing much to stop people from spending money. The data science team at Pattern tracked consumer demand and is predicting a spike in Black Friday shopping this year.
Although winter is basically here, the Pattern team says that sales of hiking apparel will see a massive 108 percent increase in sales. Electronics for kids like tablets, music players and the like, are also expected to see a surge of buyers with a 94 percent jump in sales on Black Friday.
Other expected hot ticket items this year include DSLR cameras and point-and-shoot film cameras. Power tools will see an increase in sales but the biggest jump will be in the sales of woodworking tools which are expected to see an increase in sales of 54 percent.
If you’re curious whether or not the product you’re hoping to nab at a good price this Black Friday is in demand with others, you can see more on which items are expected to be popular and possibly in limited supply due to demand here.
