Over 100 vendors had displays that stretched from near the former Sears entrance to the former Macy's entrance. Thousands of people jammed the mall from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. to browse and shop.

Many visitors purchased items for their homes or cottages while others uncovered some unique gifts for someone special.  Items included various food items, clothing, paintings, sports apparel and equipment and much more.

One feature of the day was the "Silent Sports Auction" of collectibles and memorabilia held by the Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame. Dozens of souvenirs and autographed memorabilia were available for bidding. Proceeds from the auction will be used to help fund a permanent home for the local Hall of Fame. Greater Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame inductees' awards are on display in the Oakdale Mall adjacent to Kay's Jewelers and also near the former Macy's store at the east end of the mall.
