Binghamton’s Carousel Officially Open for Business

Binghamton’s carousels open with the annual first ceremonial spin at Recreation Park. Mayor Richard David joined students from Horace Mann Elementary School for the annual tradition.

The City’s pools and carousels actually began operations for the season May 25^th.

The Recreation Park carousel operates Monday Through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and Weekends from noon to 7:45 p.m. until June 22^nd when it will be open starting at noon daily.

The carousel at Ross Park Zoo is still temporarily closed for repairs.  It’s expected to finally be back on track next week running daily through the summer from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
