A Binghamton woman is facing two felony drug possession counts after authorities searched her Griswold Street home and found over a pound of methamphetamine.

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force were joined by a marked patrol unit from the Binghamton Police Department when the searched 52-year-old Gina Donato’s home in an arrest reported in an October 7 news release.

Authorities say they seized 1.22 pounds of meth, around $2,293 in suspected drug sale proceeds, scales and drug packaging materials.

In addition to felony drug possession, Donato is charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail.
