Endicott police have arrested a woman in connection with the theft of a debit card that was left behind by a person at a supermarket ATM.

Investigators say 55-year-old Dianne Nwokolo of Park Street, Binghamton, has been charged with felony possession of stolen property.

Police allege Nwokolo swiped a GHS Credit Union debit card found in an automatic teller machine inside the Price Chopper store on North Street.

Village detectives last week released a pair of surveillance video images from the store on North Street.

Police say Nwokolo was identified by several people who recognized from one of the photos.

A man who was shown in the other surveillance photo was not involved in the debit card theft.

After the debit card was taken, investigators say an attempt was made to use it to buy gasoline at an Endicott convenience store.

Nwokolo was ordered to appear in Endicott village court March 27.
