Binghamton Woman Accused of Stabbing Endicott Man
Endicott police are investigating the stabbing of a village man during a reported dispute.
Authorities say the 29-year-old man was attacked during the early-morning incident at the Hillside Court apartment complex off West Main Street.
Police were called to 6 Hillside Court just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday after the man was stabbed in the left shoulder and left arm. He was taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City where he was treated and released.
Patrol officers took 25-year-old Tzipphora Ramseur of Arthur Street, Binghamton, into custody at the scene of the attack.
Ramseur was charged with second-degree assault. She was arraigned at the Broome County public safety facility in the town of Dickinson.
Investigators believe Ramseur used a knife to stab the man in what was described as a domestic-type incident.
Police returned to the scene later to search for the weapon but were unable to locate it.
