Binghamton Woman Accused of Impersonating Mom
A Town of Binghamton woman faces several charges after she allegedly impersonated her mother while trying to obtain drugs.
Authorities say 44-year-old Jennifer Hryck of Alpine Road was arrested on Sunday.
According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Hryck is accused of calling a doctor's office to obtain prescription pain medication. She is said to have pretended she was her mother while seeking the drugs.
Investigators say Hryck later picked up the medication under her mother's name at a pharmacy.
Hryck has been charged with four counts of criminal impersonation and four counts of identity theft.
She was arraigned in Conklin town court and sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
