Binghamton Woman Accused of DWI on July 4

New York State Police accuse a Binghamton woman of driving drunk after she drove off Hawleyton Road at Foland Road in the Town of Binghamton and hit a guardrail.

Troopers say 28 year old Amanda Margets refused to take a breath test following the crash at 1:45 p.m. July 4^th. Troopers say they still determined she was intoxicated.

She was ticketed for driving while intoxicated and other violations.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail on $250 bail.
