Binghamton University President Doctor Harvey Stenger says B.U. is well on its way to meeting its goal of 20,000 students by 2020 and is looking forward to other developments like the building of the new pharmacy school in Johnson City.  He says the University also has plans to repurpose a former Endicott Johnson Shoe building across from the Pharmacy School site.

Stenger gave his State of the University Address September 3 outlining goals for the upcoming year and beyond.

Stenger, who is on the Southern Tier Economic Development Council, says the Council winning a slot in the competition for millions of dollars in state development funds will help propel, not only the University, but the entire region forward.
