Binghamton University was a busy place over the past five days as the school conferred over 4100 bachelor and graduate degrees. The final graduation ceremony was held in the Events Center on Sunday afternoon.

University President Dr. Harvey Stenger was on hand to greet every graduate.  Businesses and hotels on the Vestal Parkway and in Binghamton were extremely busy with family and friends celebrating and honoring the new graduates.

With graduation ceremonies spread out over several days the impact in traffic flow was minimal.  Traffic heading into and out of the graduation ceremonies moved quickly.  Numerous University police and volunteers were stationed all around the parking and Events Center areas.  No major problems were reported.
