Binghamton Senators Host Portland Friday

The Binghamton Senators took a little time away from the ice today as they paricpated in the 9th Annual B-Sens Charity Golf Classic at Traditions at the Glen.  The golf tournament is a captain and crew event and benefits Wendy's Walk for Kids.

Binghamton is idle until Friday night when the Portland Pirates visit the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena for a 7:05 faceoff.  The B-Sens then travel to Syracuse to meet the Crunch Saturday at 7:00 PM.  Binghamton dropped its season opener 3-2 in overtime to the Worcester Sharks.

Portland enters Friday night's game 1-0-0. The Crunch are winless with a regulation loss to Springfield and an overtime loss to Hartford.  The B-Sens defeated Syracuse twice in the pre-season winning the two encounters while training in France.
