The Binghamton Senators went to a shootout for the second straight game as they lost 3-2 today in Albany.  They were hoping for a clean sweep weekend. They defeated the St. John's IceCaps 2-1 in Binghamton on Friday night.  In a shootout  in Syracuse last night the B-Sens won 4-3 on a score by Cole Schneider.

The B-Sens held a 2-1 lead going into the third period but the Devils tied the game on a goal by David Wohlberg and Rod Pelley scored in the shootout to give the Devils the 3-2 decision.  Matt Puempel and Alex Grant scored goals for Binghamton. Scott Greenham made 24 saves in goal for the B-Sens.

Coming up Friday Binghamton travels to Rochester to meet the Amerks.  Then the B-Sens return to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for games Saturday at 7:05 against Norfolk and Sunday at 3:05 versus Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
